Last week, Pew Research Center released a report on social trends in the United States.

As many would guess, the report found America’s youngest voters, Millenials, to be the strongest backers of legalizing marijuana. But what’s surprising to see is how fast support has risen over the years – across all generations.

In fact, over the past decade, support for legalization has nearly doubled among not only Millenials (18-33), but Generation X (34-49) and Baby Boomers (50-65) as well. According to the most recent Gallup survey, 58% of Americans overall are now in favor of legalizing marijuana.
