I want to write to you now about loss. This letter is going to be longer than my first and second letters because I’ve a lot to say about things I never thought I would say.

You are not the only friend with whom I feel a yawning abyss growing between us on account of this massive, orchestrated human calamity. There are others, like you and me, because we happen to disagree on what’s been happening in our world the past two years.
