Breast Cancer and Raw Foods

Dr. Sarah Brennan of Queen’s University Belfast found a direct relationship between those at risk of breast cancer and unhealthful diet. (A woman was deemed at risk if her mother or grandmother was diagnosed with the disease.) Those women who adopted diets rich in raw fruits and vegetables were subsequently less likely to be diagnosed with breast cancer.

Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women’s Hospital also found a connection between obese women and breast cancer. (We know that those who adopt a diet high in raw foods almost invariably lose weight.)

The Division of Oncology at the Rambam Medical Center and the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology found that chemotherapy doses could be reduced in those patients who consumed wheatgrass juice.
