Amnesty? How about EVIDENCE FIRST!
Amnesty talk is in the air! We are being asked to “forget everything” and “forgive each other.” The Atlantic asks:
we need to learn from our mistakes and then let them go…
But dwelling on the mistakes of history can lead to a repetitive doom loop as well. Let’s acknowledge that we made complicated choices in the face of deep uncertainty, and then try to work together to build back and move forward.
We Need Evidence
How about, before the “amnesty,” we first collect evidence before it is forgotten? Finally, YOU, my dear reader, can submit YOUR story to be collected.
Our friend Naomi Wolf from DailyClout, the inveterate fighter for our freedoms and the safety of children, is leading a project to collect EVIDENCE in the form of personal stories.
