Woman writing in journal

Self-Esteem and Health

Many maintain that poor health begins with self-deprecation. To begin to better esteem yourself, keep a journal. Every evening, before sleep, write down seven things you like about yourself, or about things you did that day that made you feel good about yourself.

Do this for three months. Then, for one week, take thirty minutes every night to read what you’ve written. You’ll begin to see patterns and repetitions.

For the next nine months, return to writing down seven items every evening. After one year, you’ll have more than two thousand items that cause you to feel greater self-esteem.

Your self-confidence will soar. You will love yourself, and your health will likewise improve.
