SUMMARY:THE PARENTING GROUND - A Rebuilding Space for Fathers Navigating Separation
DESCRIPTION:THE PARENTING GROUND  \nMy internal imposter has been trying to tell me not to do it… that I am not ready… \nIf this supports one man\, let alone a tribe\, then who am I to get in my own way?! \nWhat is it?… \nA room for fathers who want to rise. \nSeparating from my ex at the time was my greatest fear! \nI knew it was the right step. I knew it was going to take everything of me to rise. \nSeparation changed everything for me. \nNot just my relationship. \nMy identity. \nI went from partner to co-parent. \nFrom one home to navigating two households. \nFrom what felt like stability to a lot of uncertainty. \nAnd yet one thing never changed… \nThe love I have for my son.  \nWanting to navigate the separation journey in a way that benefited everyone – my son\, my ex\, myself.  \nI take my role as a father seriously. \nMy family is the most important thing to me. \nOver the past few years I’ve been navigating separation\, co-parenting\, family courts\, lawyers\, business\, finances\, identity reformation\, and trying to stay present as a father. \nSome days I’ve handled it well. \nOther days I haven’t. \nI have spoken to many fathers who feel the same too. \nTired. \nOverwhelmed. \nFinancially stretched. \nEmotionally fried. \nStill showing up for their kids… while quietly carrying a lot inside. \nFor a long time I tried to handle everything on my own… \nWork/business changes. \nParenting. \nLegal stress. \nFinancial pressure. \nI kept pushing forward\, but there were many moments where I wished there was a space where I could connect with other men and fathers\, with like-minded values\, who want the best for their family\, who have navigated this space. I needed a space to talk about the stresses of separation and how to get myself back on track. \nSomewhere grounded. \nSomewhere honest. \nSomewhere practical. \nThis is my vision and motivation for starting The Parenting Ground. \nNot because I have everything figured out. \nBut because I’ve learned a lot through this journey\, and I’m still learning. \nAnd I know how valuable it is when men can sit in a room with others who understand the terrain. \nInside this space we focus on practical things that matter: \n\nregulating under pressure\nsetting clean boundaries with your ex\nnavigating lawyers and family court without losing yourself\nrebuilding identity after separation\nbreaking avoidance patterns\nfinancial stabilisation\nbecoming steady for your child\n\nPlease understand that this isn’t therapy. \nIt’s structure. \nAccountability. \nAnd real conversations between fathers. \nThe purpose of the space is to support you. \nGuide you. \nPoint you in the right direction. \nHelp you see perspectives you may not be seeing. \nIf you’re a father navigating separation and you’re tired of trying to figure everything out alone\, join us. \nTHE PARENTING GROUND  \nThursday 26 March – 7pm – Hippocrates Health Centre\, Mudgeeraba QLD. \nINVESTMENT: $10 – TO REGISTER\, contact me directly. \n \n  \n
